Hostilo vs Tiiny Host vs Netlify: Where to Host a Single HTML File

You have one HTML file: a landing page, an AI-generated site, a portfolio. You don't need a CI/CD pipeline, yet most hosting comparisons are written for developers. Here are three options from the point of view of someone who just wants the page online.

Hostilo: the shortest path from code to a link

Copy the HTML, paste it into the editor, save: the page is live at name.hostilo.page with SSL. The free plan covers 5 sites, a live preview, the last 10 versions of every page, and backend-free contact forms. PRO costs $29 per year and adds up to 5 custom domains, 20 sites and 1 GB of storage. If you work in Claude, you can skip copy-paste entirely: connect https://hostilo.app/mcp and say "publish this as my-offer".

Downsides: it is built for static, mostly single-file sites, not apps with builds or server-side code. A custom domain needs PRO, and free sites pause after 30 days without a login (nothing is deleted; logging in brings them back).

Tiiny Host: fast sharing of files as links

Tiiny Host is drag-and-drop: upload an HTML file, a ZIP or a PDF and get a link. Paid plans add analytics, QR codes, password protection and lead capture, which makes it popular for sharing documents and prototypes with clients. The free plan allows one site with a 3 MB upload and 5,000 visits a month, with a Tiiny Host banner.

Downsides: custom domains, editing and password protection start at the Solo plan (€13/month billed yearly), and the free plan fits a single small page.

Netlify: powerful, built for developers

Netlify Drop accepts a folder dragged onto a page, and the platform adds Git-based deploys, serverless functions and form handling. The free plan includes a custom domain with SSL and 300 credits a month; paid plans start at $9 per month.

Downsides: for one HTML page it is a lot of tool: a dashboard, builds, deploys and a credit system to understand. For more detail see Hostilo vs Netlify.

Which should you pick?
